The last couple weeks (before testing starts again!) we’ve had a LOT of fun with a new book selection activity I’m calling #MusicalBookcases. It was a little crazy, super fun, & very kinesthetic! I really need to beef up our circulation numbers, aka, getting more books into the hands of kids.

This seems like a really amazing idea. I have a lot of ELL (English Language Learner) students in my school and its challenging to motivate them to choose library books BUT they really like music so I’m hopeful that this may be a way to engage with them. I wonder if it will be successful if I use music from their own languages! Anyway I’m excited to give it a try. Thank you for sharing this idea 🙂
